CogPark

How CogPark Works: Save, Understand, Decide

CogPark helps you save information first and decide later whether it is worth exploring further. You can share a link to CogPark at any time without interrupting what you are currently browsing.

CogPark processes supported content in the background. Depending on what it can access and process, it may generate an AI-assisted summary in your preferred language, extract and translate the main article text, or provide playback and download options for supported videos. This lets you understand the content first and decide for yourself whether it deserves more of your time.

Save: Add links to your queue from browsers and supported apps

Whether you are browsing the web or using a social media, news, forum, blog, video, or podcast app, you can share a link to CogPark whenever the system share menu is available. You do not need to leave the content or interrupt what you are doing.

The link is added to your CogPark queue. You can continue with your current activity and return to review and process it when you have time.

Understand: AI-assisted summaries, article extraction, translation, and video processing

When CogPark can process a saved link, it attempts to extract the available text and media so that you can understand the content before deciding whether to read or watch it in full.

Depending on the source, your account entitlements, and the processing result, CogPark may provide:

  • An AI-assisted summary in your preferred language to help you understand the main points quickly
  • The available main article text with fewer distractions from advertisements, navigation, and other page elements
  • The original content CogPark can retrieve and, when supported, a translation that you can compare with the source wording
  • Available transcripts or long-form content to help you understand the original material more completely
  • Playback, download, or save-to-Photos or Gallery options for supported video workflows.

Not every saved link will produce all of these results.

Decide: Share, download, export, keep, or delete

After reviewing the saved content, you can choose what to do next:

  • If the content is worth keeping for the long term, you can use the share function to send the link or available content to your knowledge base or another compatible app
  • You can export available content or a translation as a PDF for storage, archiving, or transfer to other software
  • If an available video has been processed successfully, you can download it or save it directly to your device’s Photos app or Gallery
  • If you are not ready to decide, you can keep the item in your CogPark queue and return to it later
  • If you have obtained what you need or decide the content is not worth keeping, you can remove it from your CogPark queue.

Some features depend on your current plan.

Save from iPhone and Android

The CogPark apps for iPhone and Android let you send links directly from apps that support the system share function. Whether you are viewing social media, news, forums, blogs, videos, or podcasts, you can save the link first and then continue what you were doing.

After a link is submitted, CogPark processes it in the background. You can receive notifications about its processing progress and open your CogPark queue to review the available results.

For supported videos, CogPark can also guide you through downloading the video and saving it to the Photos app on iPhone or the Gallery on Android.

Availability and processing limitations

CogPark attempts to process the links you save, but the available results depend on whether the source permits access, whether the link remains valid, and whether CogPark can identify and retrieve the relevant text or media.

Not every link will produce every type of result, such as a summary, article text, translation, PDF, or video. Some results may be unavailable if the content has been deleted, made private, requires additional authentication, is restricted by the source, or uses a page structure that has changed.

Video playback, downloading, and saving are available only when CogPark can identify and retrieve a usable video. This does not mean that CogPark can download videos from every webpage.

AI-assisted summaries and translations are intended to help you understand content and do not replace the original source. For important information, return to the original source and verify it directly.

The availability and usage limits of some features depend on your current plan. See Plans and features for details.

Frequently asked questions

What types of content can I save with CogPark?

You can send links to articles, social media posts, news, forums, blogs, videos, podcast pages, and other online content from a browser or an app that supports the system share function. CogPark adds the link to your queue and attempts to retrieve and process the available text or media.

Do I need to register to use CogPark?

No. You can start using CogPark without registering. Creating a free account gives you additional entitlements for saving, processing, and managing content. See Plans and features for the features and limits available to each account type and plan.

Is CogPark easy to use?

CogPark is designed to be simple. When you find a useful link, select CogPark from the system share menu and then continue what you were doing.

After the link is saved, available processes such as AI-assisted summarization, article extraction, and video processing run automatically in the background. When the relevant results are available, further actions such as Reader View, translation, and PDF export can be started with a single click.

Which languages does CogPark support?

CogPark supports 12 interface languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Thai.

CogPark can also generate AI-assisted summaries in your preferred language to help you understand content in other languages. The actual result depends on whether CogPark can retrieve and process enough of the original content.

What does CogPark do with the links I save?

Depending on the actual content available through the link, CogPark may provide an AI-assisted summary, main article extraction, translation, transcript, video playback or downloading, and PDF export. Not every link will produce every type of result.

How is CogPark different from a regular bookmark?

CogPark can save links like a cross-platform bookmarking tool, but it does more than record URLs. It also attempts to extract and process the available text and media, providing results such as AI-assisted summaries, main article text, translations, PDF exports, and video processing. This helps you understand content before deciding what to do with it.

Regular bookmarks can easily create “bookmark anxiety”: links continue to accumulate, but there is rarely enough time to reopen, read, and organise them. Eventually, the bookmarks folder becomes a neglected to-do list. CogPark uses a save, understand, and decide workflow to help you gradually share, export, keep, or delete saved content.

Is CogPark a knowledge base?

No. A knowledge base is generally used to organise, connect, and retrieve information that has already been judged valuable. CogPark focuses on the stage before information enters a knowledge base.

You can save links that you do not yet have time to process, use summaries, article extraction, translation, and media processing to understand them, and then decide whether they are worth sharing or exporting to your knowledge base. CogPark acts more like an information filtering and decision layer before a knowledge base than a knowledge base itself.

Can I use CogPark on iPhone and Android?

Yes. You can use the CogPark apps for iPhone and Android to send links from apps that support the system share function. For supported videos, you can also follow the provided steps to save the video to the Photos app on iPhone or the Gallery on Android.

Can CogPark download videos from any webpage?

No. Video playback, downloading, and saving are available only when CogPark can identify and retrieve a usable video. Private content, deleted content, content that requires additional authentication, and videos restricted by their source may not be processed.

Can I use CogPark as an X video downloader?

Yes, although CogPark is not positioned as a traditional video downloader.

When conditions permit, CogPark can process an X post, retrieve an available video, and provide options to play it, download it, or save it directly to your phone’s Photos app or Gallery. This is one of CogPark’s actual capabilities, and users can choose to use it when it meets their needs.

Successful processing still depends on whether the content remains valid, whether access is permitted, and whether CogPark can identify and retrieve a usable video.

Will CogPark decide which content is worth keeping for me?

No. CogPark uses summaries, article extraction, translation, and media processing to help you understand content more quickly. You make the final decision to share, download, export, keep, or delete it.

What should I do if a saved item’s results expire or something goes wrong?

If this happens, simply select Delete and re-submit. CogPark will delete the existing item and process the link again as a new item.
